Shipping included on this Snyders Point, from a Hancock County, Kentucky, collection, found along the Ohio River. The flint is a Kentucky form of Derby Chert I've heard referred to as "Yellowbanks Chert"--2&1/8" by 1&5/16"--the piece is 3/8" thick, so it may have started as a considerably larger blade. Being Snyders, there is no basal grinding--good condition, good patination for a 1500--2,000 BP Hopewell Type. I welcome checks or M.O.s however I do not use paypal--Roy A.
