A creek find from the Union--Webster County, Kentucky, area, an out-and-out "No brainer" that went through multiple use cycles, sharpen, use, sharpen again, finally lost in a creek. Made of a type of hornstone with multiple fossil inclusions, measures 2&7/16" by 1&1/4"--5/16" max thickness near the base. Note along the side of the tip it looks like the knapper was fighting to get a cutting edge, the hard flint didn't cooperate (a slight stack in the flint)--you wonder is frustration at the way the flint 'worked' being the reason the piece was in a creek?. Guaranteed real, period. Shipping is $6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
