Found in the Hopkinsville, Kentucky, area, two very creek stained MacCorkle bifurcates. Both have ancient tip dings, the patina on each chip goes back to the Early Archaic period when each was used--why the hunter didn't sharpen each one more time, who knows? Especially the longer piece (1&7/8") there is sufficient blade to narrow and serrate. If the pair were projectiles, not knives, then that would explain why they were damaged on impact--and not found.
