72395 --Decatur dart, Illinois, prairie patinated
Shipping included with he price on this Decatur dart point from S.W. Illinois--Prairie dirt/ mineral speckling included. Clean it if you choose, of is looks pretty good the way it is. Likely the flatland soil will clean, leave the Burlington Chert dart point an even white (maybe a few mineral spots that won't clean), but anything (such as this) that shows the history, the patination of the piece, I'm leaving it in place. Length is barely at 1&1/2", width is 1&1/8", some 1/4" max thickness. The dart form is left after what was likely a 3.5" blade to start, sharpened & used repeatedly. All five 'cardinal points' are in good condition, no obvious nicks--and REAL in every detail. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s however I do not use paypal--Roy A.
