Either Sonora Flint, some hematite coloration (you see those 'ruddy colors', you know it's Sonora). Length is 3&1/8"--very good length, and width is slightly over 1&7/16"--3/8" center thickness, very balanced blade. The finder, central Kentucky, didn't clean the Turkey Tail, field dirt still shows in the crevices. The blade had several sharpenings during it's time of use, the tip shows the blade sharpening--not an impact fracture or damage, just "It's time to sharpen this thing" done in Late Archaic Period use. One barb does have a small flat spot at the end, though. The stem shows excellent edge grinding. GREAT patina, lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping comes with the price, nothing extra. I welcome checks or money orders--cash always welcome, but I do not use paypal--Roy A.
