Heavy creek stain makes even identifying the flint difficult on this Trigg County, Kentucky, creek find, approximately 60% of a Paleo Clovis point--both sides fluted, lateral (and basal) edges heavily ground where they're intact. The reverse face has a double flute--interline fluting. The more rounded face, the flute went off-center of the base, it ran more up the side of the point, not the medial ridge. The edges of the break are use-polished enough to indicate the tool had a secondary use as a hafted scraper. Neat piece, 100% real. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
