South Scottsdale, Arizona: Please stop adding this piece to cart--I will never sell any artifact to you--adding something to cart (then cancelling the cart), it's a waste of your time.
A Hopkins County, Kentucky find--not sure if it was a creek find, or field--a more modern chip on one corner is what you'd expect from a field find whereas a creek find, about the only way I've seen those damaged is by (other that creek dredging) deer stepping on the point...sounds odd, but "deer damage" is real if it's a rocky creekbed. Length of this Late Archaic-into-Woodland point (Hornstone, a Kentucky variety) is 2&3/8" by 15/15", a thin 1/4" max thickness at the hafting area. The tip is slightly rounded from use--like the Cotaco Creek points. Guaranteed real, period. Shipping is$6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
