If the patina on this Union or Webster County, Kentucky, Motley isn't quite enough, I don't know what more any collector could want--FINE creekstaining, mineral build-up into 'clumps'. Under all that stain, is the piece Hornstone or is it St. Louis Green? Could be either one--without a modern chip to see what's under the surface it's almost impossible to say for certain--length is just barely over 3" by 1&7/16", max thickness is 5/16"--the tip shows an impact fracture from whatever it struck on the last time it was used. Basal grinding wasn't generally a Motley Point trait, and that's true here--maybe, Maybe a couple swipes across a piece of sandstone to take off the sharp edge, nothing more. Every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic, period. Shipping is $5.00 and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry I do not use paypal--Roy A.
