Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s are the payment forms this store uses. Sorry, paypal is not accepted. The Fox Valley Bifurcate is from the Bill Pesch Collection, Fayette County, Illinois area (wasn't labeled for county info in Mr. Pesch's estate, unfortunately). The piece is Early Archaic Culture, a glossy Crescent Quarry Chert (high end Burlington). measures 1&3/4" by 1&1/16"--thin, never reaching even 1/4" thickness. One 'wing' shows Early Archaic repair to a ding on the end of that barb; rounded somewhat--and one basal corner has a use-made chip. Instead of the usual basal lobes of a Fox Valley the stem somewhat resembles an Illinois Hardin from around the same timeframe--the sharpening of the blade, though, is classic Fox Valley. Every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Thanks for looking--Roy A.
