This was a personal screen find by me in Jonesboro, Texas which is about and hour west of Temple, Texas. The ranch was between Gatesville and Jonesboro.
The workmanship on this artifact is outstanding and perfect. It is thin as can be with great symmetry and perfect lines. This is a well made example of the type.
The Johnson is an Early Archaic to Middle Archaic artifact and it dates from 9,000 to 5,000 BP.
