Price includes the shipping cost on this "above Terre Haute" found Cornernotch--the finder ranged along creek systems, Vigo and area counties. The point, Kirk or Pinetree (my thought based on the decent basal edge grinding) is made of Attica--Indiana Green Chert--1&11/16" by 1&5/16", but sharpened (reduced) from a considerably longer blade. The center thickness shows a stack that's a full 3/8" thick--while not excessive, it indicates there was a lot more blade as-first-made. The piece was left with the quadra-facial sharpening you see from the Early Archaic. The finder inked a catalog number, but without a 'key' that doesn't convey much. The one barb has an old end chip, patinated, somewhat polished from use. When you see a shine to the end you know that was very likely the major work edge used. Lifetime guaranteed real, period. I welcome checks or M.O>s, but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
