Made of a slightly translucent grade of Sonora Flint, the Wayne County, Kentucky, find is one I'd classify as a Hamilton--although using the Madison classification would work as well, they're both Mississippian Culture (or very late Woodland)--actual bow-and-arrow projectiles. This piece was found decades back, found along a branch of the Cumberland River. It spent years glued to a display board, so if you spot a tiny bit of school glue that didn't get washed (picked) off, you know what it is. Length is 1&3/8" by 3/4", max thickness is 2.5 sixteenths at the base (a very small stack). The only nick is at the end of one auricle--the close up photo will show how close to a G-10 the piece is. Absolutely every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. I pay the shipping cost, and checks or M.O.s are the payment forms I welcome. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
