Free shipping on this Sonora Flint Turkey Tail, ex Bill Droll collection--the man had lived in the E-town, Kentucky, area, so that's where I'm assuming he found most of his collection (heavy on Sonora flint, so that indicates a certain area of Kentucky, the town of Sonora). Great colors on this Late Archaic point, a little hard to see on one side due to Bill having massively overused glue to attach points to picture frame flet backing. Note: it's come off with either water or nail polish remover, but I generally leave the glue in place so a buyer can see how the piece was displayed--the glue shows the provenance, if that makes sense.. Length is 2&5/16" by 1&1/4"--5/16" is the single thickest spot. Only minor use wear, a very tiny tip chip as the pics should show. Considering the blade was likely twice the present length, the ancient deerhunter took great care, fine pressure chipping as the blade wore: lifetime guaranteed authentic. I welcome checks or M.O.s, however I do not use paypal--Roy A.
