What a base, long basal 'tangs', good barbs, and really strong basal grinding. You can spot the serration to the blade edges so you know ther blade was longer as first made--length is 1&9/16" as-is, width is 1", and barely over 1/4" max thickness. Thee is slight wear on the very tip, but that's minor--likely the Pinetree had a sharper tip before the last use, the point overall shows too much care in how it was used, but patina ( wear patterns) say it WAS used--100% guaranteed authentic. The piece is out of the southeast corner of Indiana, a fossil chert of a decent quality--a slightly higher silicate than some more grainy Harrodsburg Fossil Chert. Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O>s are how I welcome payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
