Two Thin Caracaras from North Texas
These Caracara Variants are very thin and both found in the same prehistoric camp in Lamb County, Texas. Neither one is a flake point, both are true bifacially worked arrowheads.
The thinnest of the two, TX1248 appears to be made of an agatized chert. The other one, TX1249 appears to be an Edwards Gray Chert.
Both are sharp, pointy and attractive for one money.
Both are in separate Coin folders for their protection.
