These are a few of my personal finds on this property. .
These were all found within a few feet of one another. I wouldn't consider them a cache necessarily, as there are many of them on that hill scattered over several acres. This entire hill is one giant quarry site.
This chert form is from a "float limestone" that developed separately in sheets over the surface of the earth. This chert did not come from limestone bedrock or river rock. Most of the material started only an inch or so thick, from cortex to cortex.
Very attractive material.
