Okay, not so little...3&7/8" even with the ancient, ancient tip snap--and tiny use-made edge chips from subsequent Woodland usage of the tip for a secondary purpose. You find those tiny use-made chips on the edge of a flat tip, you know someone found a way to use the tool to fit their needs. Next--don't let the brown/ bronze creek staining fool you, the long Adena is gray Hornstone underneath all that surface patina. Based on the (figuratively) huge stem, the time-after-time sharpening of the blade, I think the original length nudged 5"--the width at the shoulders is 1&1/4", and combined with the very long base, this was a big knife before all the sharpening actions. The finder picked the piece up in a Henderson, Kentucky, area creek--every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use payment services (like paypal)--Roy A.
