If I'm the one to classify the small 1&3/8" point, a Kirk Stemmed Bifurcate would be my classification--a little (small degree) of stem edge grinding on an Early Archaic point form. The material used is a fossil chert. The last owner worked (hunted) sites as he boated up-and-down the Ohio River--Henderson County, Kentucky, being one of his major hunting areas, so that's what I can provide as far as provenance--other than his name, lol. The piece shows great patina under a 10x loop, black 'dots' of mineral deposits everywhere. Shipping is $8.00--and I do wish there was a cheaper way than USPS to ship the piece. I take payments by check or money order (or cash), but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
