I saw the picture of the frame on an online auctions some years back, sort of wondered if the pieces were creek finds, ALL that patina--the auction specifically stated there was no preview, so I couldn't go see them--blind bidding, I'd call it. Okay, fast forward to the auction pick up, you get handed the board of flint and it's real clear what LOOKED like patina is glue--what's even more frustrating is that the pieces are glued to the plywood, so you know there is glue on the backside, too. It's hard to say what glue was used, but these points spent a full year in a water bath, nothing came off. There was no history on the pieces, but judging by the flints they're either from Illinois or Missouri--Burlington Chert. Shipping is $7.00, checks or M.O>s welcomed, but please note I don't accept paypal--Roy A A good Easter to everyone !
