A Connersville, Indiana, area flint knife--Laurel Flint if my I.D is correct, 4&5/16" by 1&5/8", half inch thick. The tip has a work-made chip, slight wear polish from use as a finishing tool. The flaking looks more like percussion work, so that'd date the piece to either the Late Archaic or one of the Woodland periods. There is excellent basal thinning, 'hafting polish' ( from slight movement against the handle, so I'd be pretty certain the tool was on a handle, it wasn't a hand-held knife.
