Three Elizabethtown, Kentucky, area flint knives from the B. Droll collection--the longest is the dark Sonora Flint knife at 3&5/8"--the lighter colored hornstone knife is very close to the same length, and the chert knife is 3&1/8".
Old Bill absolutely loved to glue artifacts to cheap picture frames, so the shiny material is a glue to soak free--maybe a Goof-Off product will do it just as easily. The pieces are real, fun to study, and low priced enough to be worth your time. Shipping is $8.00 due to new postal rates.
