Shipping included with the price on this super thin Henderson County, Kentucky Mississippian war point--triangle--Madison Point, whatever name you want to place on the point type--it's made of a very good grade of Hornstone, 1" in length, but it's the thickness that's remarkable, slightly over 1/16" at the thickest spot. That's not a TYPO, slightly over 1/16" max thickness--width is slightly over 3/8". The site was in heavy use in the 1250--1400 common era timeframe, but some camps (I've heard) lasted long enough to have contact with early French traders--one way that could be dated was that the villagers would trade for copper cookpots and then chop them up to make rolled copper beads...occasionally, if the plows still sink in deep enough a deeply green patinated bead will still turn up...just a little background on the site. I welcome checks or M.O.s, cash if you want to pay that way, but I do not use paypal--Roy A.
