Four creek finds from a frame of points purchased in 2010, most are Daviess County, Ky, a few are Ohio county. The snap base, and I'm not 100% sure if it was an Adena or some other point type, but I suspect it IS Adena Culture, measures 2&15/16" by 1&1/8", but a super-thin 3/16" thickness until you get down to the snap-off--and not quite a quarter inch thickness even there. Thin point ! The two Lowe/ Bakers Creek types are 2&5/16", 2&3/16" respectively. The snap base Adena is nearly 1&7/8". All four are made of creek patinated Hornstone, each having its unique patina. What they have in common, besides the same finder, is that they're all guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $7.00, checks (or cash) plus money orders are the only payment forms I use--so you can't pay with a paypal-type payment service--Roy A.
