Out of the Union County, southwest Illinois, area--4&1/4" by 1&15/16", only 1" thick. The piece was a field find, it does show a couple plow scratches--and a really, really worked bit. Woodland use dulled that bit considerably--but it also shows you it's a "no brainer" authentic artifact. One face shows a glue spot, formerly a provenance tag that someone removed before I first saw the piece--all I can provide is the county of record. The piece is authentic as anything, though.
