Found on Riverton Culture (the birdpoint people) sites on the Ohio River, Spencer County, Indiana. These Late Archaic-into-Woodland peoples specialized in making their dart points out of river cobble (pebble) Jasper--knuckle-busting work, but they seemed to rarely stray from their home villages to get higher end flints. You have to respect them for their efforts even as you think about how hard those small pieces of gravel were to work, there is considerable artistry in their cornernotching. The longest of these is 1.25", the smallest is 1" even--ALL are 100% real. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or money orders welcomed, but please note my store does not take paypal-type payments--Roy A.
