The finder tagged the hornstone Turkey Tail as coming out og Fulton Co., Indiana--4&3/8" by 1&1/8", but a thick 9/16" max thickness. The tip area and the stem are very thin, fine Late Archaic workmanship, but the blade center is , well, extra thick. The big knife fit a need they had, quite a bit of cutting surface to the hafted knife. The piece traveled around, ended up in a Vanderburgh Co., Indiana, collection. It's patinated, it's real, period. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use electronic payment services (like paypal)--Roy A.
