Out of the huge collection of the late Bill Pesch, a blue fossil chert Early Archaic Culture Fox Valley bifurcate--just great wings, the 'standard' of these small bifurcates. Length is 1&3/16" by 1&1/16", thin, only 1/4". Bill wrote a catalog number of (I think, the ink is blurred) 26 on each face. Usually he put the county (Illinois) information on his points, but if it's there I can't read it--Fayette County, was 'home area', so expect that was where the piece originated--Mattoon area.
