Price includes the cost to ship the seven pieces of Hopewell "Microblade" technology--and the Flint Ridge "Core". The 'core' itself measures 1&1/4" by 3/4", out of Gibson County, Indiana. These little blades (or bladelets as some refer to them) were some of the sharpest tools in a prehistoric users' 'kit', thin blades removed from a "Core". The longest two are 2&1/16", one of Indiana Perry County Derby Chalcedony (blue-grey, and translucent, and a white high grade material with a red iron oxide base. The bifacial red/ blue material is a heat treated Indiana Holland flint. Two others are Derby flint as well, the 1" wide thin, translucent piece is "Dark Derby", and the curved perforator blade is "Light, chalcedony form of Derby. The narrow, semi-curved Microblade is a hard, almost 'grainy' 1&13/16"--rough surface, almost abrasive, whatever the chert-type is. The last piece is a heat treated Burlington--a "classic" material the Hopewell favored for their 'surgical tools'. ALL are real, period. I welcome any type payment that can be sent to me through the mail, but do not use paypal--Roy A.
