Some pieces, they simply catch your eye--2&5/16" of a 'hornstone on the left, cortex on the right, sort of like a hornstone "Spall Knife, but this snap base was once a point form. The flaking is excellent pressure chipping, so I'd expect the piece was either an Early Archaic form or a Benton type from the Mid Archaic--the Bentons like the long, narrow (15/16") blade forms, so it could well be one of their long blades. The finder was an avid creek hunter, and you'll see some Dubois County, Indiana, creek patina on the piece--neat piece, that two-tone on a vertical pattern isn't too often seen. Shipping comes with the price, checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
