A 2&1/2" by 1&1/4" Buck Creek from Webster County, Kentucky, area creeks--hornstone, a banded form of that flint. The stem was knapped to the outer edge of the starting flake (preform), the flat edge of that flake formed the base of the point--it's NOT a snap base, but a deliberate knapping technique to get more length to the blade. One barb does have a flat spot at the end--Late Archaic usage some 2500--3500 BP. Patina is pure creekstain, it's 100% real. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
