A S.W. Indiana MacCorkle, either Spencer or Gibson County; length of the dart point is close to 1&7/16" by 1", slightly under a thin 1/4" max thickness, no restoration, no damage, simply a fine Early Archaic Bifurcated style--note the one barb is (under 10x loop magnification) an inclusion of a higher grade of silicate--looks restored, but isn't). On the base of each lobe there is slight dulling--the kind of light dulling you can call 'grinding', but that's stretching the definition of " basal grinding". The flint is a fossil-bearing material, silicate crystals (quartz) have replaced one fossil that went through to each side---close up photo should show the crystal pocket. Patination is excellent, every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00. If buying, please note this store welcomes only checks, cash, or M.O.s, you can't pay with paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
