Out of a Callaway County, Missouri, collection, a Late Archaic point form, a Mason or Etley, 2&1/2" by 1&1/2" wide. The length was slightly shorter after a 'field sharpening' where a sharp point was forced by taking a flake off each side of the tip. If it's Mozarkite--as I believe--the flint is of a lot higher silicate form of that chert--very good silicate (gloss), a better knapping vehicle for a Late Archaic period knapper. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed, but before you click 'add-to-cart' please note that I do not use paypal--Roy A.
