S.W. Indiana collection, either Vanderburgh or Posey County, 1" by 9/16", and only 1/8" max thickness The material looks like a "river rock" that was worked--an almost black inclusion on the bottom of one face. At first I thought the area was a modern 'rechip', but the patinated lighter color (of the drill's body) shows along the very bottom of the basal edge. How it was knapped without breaking the "T" drill was pure skill. There were enough Mississippian Madisons with this small collection that's exactly which culture I feel made the piece--in our 1250--1400 era. Shipping is $5.00, checks (or cash) and/ or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal, though--Roy A.
