The collector/ finder put his name on the 3&1/16" Adena--Pesch (Bill), along with his catalog number. Much of the collection was marked as Fayette County, so that's where I'd expect the origin of this Woodland Culture find to be. Now, ask me the chert type, that one I'm lost--it MAY be a form of Kaolin Flint, and that's the best I can identify the material. The stem edges show some degree of edge-dulling, but it's light grinding at best. Width is slightly over 1&3/8", max thickness is 3/8", yet with a very thin tip and tail. Patina is excellent, every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00, with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry my store doesn't use paypal--Roy A.
