Not an extra large Dovetail, sharpened & beveled until a large blade now measures 1&15/16" tip-to-ground base. I find work polish on the very tip, so it was being used as a burin--long enough action that the flint took on a polish. As the Early archaic knapper worked the piece of Harrison County (Indiana) Hornstone he was at the edge of a large flint segment (a 'layer type' (lense) hornstone, not a nodule), so cortex gave the finished Dovetailed knife a two-tone 'streaked' appearance. The Dove was last in an Indiana collection that was found near Evansville--I have a bit more history that'll go to the next owner. Every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $6.00 and checks or M.O>s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
