If the pictures don't give you a 'double take', your reaction is very different than mine. Glued on a board, I assumed this was going to be a broken Mississippian Culture point (S.W. Indiana), but finally working the piece free of too much glue I was left with a "What the heck?" reaction--not broken, not rechipped, but made in a sort of 'pyramid shape" (with the long side held toward you). More years of collecting than I can easily count, I seem to recall one other piece made this way--never had an explanation for that one, either. Length is 1&1/8" by 5/8", only 1/8" max thickness. The triangle is made of a tan Jasper, not a flint or chert--a 'river rock' found-and-utilized--the camp-beside-the-river Mississippians were frequent users of what they found along the nearby Ohio River. An unusual piece, but 100% guaranteed authentic, Shipping is $5.00 with checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
