There is 'good', and then there is 'That's great' when it comes to artifacts--from the second I saw the big Dovetail (snap base form)I had it firmly in the 'great; group--river stained Hornstone, found in Monroe County, Kentucky--a long 4&1/16" by 1&7/16", with the thickest spot being blade-center, slightly over 3/8". The blade shows heavy use, fine pressure chipping to keep the blade sharp, ALL patinated with age, mineralized. The snap stem was ground smooth after the Dove base broke, it has the feel of long use after that snap-off. There is a streak of glue on the reverse face--not sure if that was for an I.D. label, or to hold the big knife steady in a frame--easily removed, but left (for now) to show the way the piece was displayed. A VERY simple guarantee: every detail is lifetime guaranteed real. Shipping comes with the price, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy a.
