"Kinda big" is sort of an understatement here, I think you'll agree. Length is an outstanding 4&11/16" by 2&1/8". Measured on a 'stack' 1/2" is the single thickest spot. The hornstone type (Harrison County, Indiana, flint) was fractured, a huge flake of flint used for producing this Warrick County, Indiana, find. The flake wasn't a 'perfect biface' as the form & fracture planes show--regardless, the Adena knapper made a respectable knife, used the natural (split nodule) features to his advantage--percussion shaped (finished) edges, a superb stem (may have very slight edge dulling, but I wouldn't describe the stem as "ground". AS the blade is still somewhat sharp-edged I don't think the knife had much of a use life. The finder picked the piece up quite a few decades back as I understand it--wish I knew if he was an early creek hunter as a piece this size isn't generally a field find. Patina is lifetime guaranteed authentic in every detail. $7.00 shipping, checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
