From one of my "Put away for some date long in the future" frames, twenty-five or more years back--this Vanderburgh County, Indiana Discoidal is made of a dense quartzite--heavy for its size, and very well formed, 2&3/8" by 1&3/8". The finder recorded the provenance on the side, county and 1989 date. Some of the iron-rich exterior of the quartzite cobble shows on both faces, along with each face having a center dimple. The provenance I have (finder, approximate location) will be provided to the next long-term owner. Every detail is lifetime guaranteed real. Any questions, please ask. Shipping is $7.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not take electronic payments (like paypal)--Roy A.
