Price includes the shipping cost on this Carroll County, Indiana collection's Kirk Cornernotch. The sharpening was high caliber work on down until the point reached only 1&5/16" by 1&3/16"--unusual for a Kirk ( or Stilwell, I think I could be persuaded to call it either point type), the basal edge has very good edge grinding--not Thebes-heavy grinding, but it's well ground. The one basal corner is ancient damage, patina and soil down in the crevices. The blade, being Kirk, is four-sided-sharpened. The flint, I'll call it Hornstone, but it has almost a Sonora Flint coloration--as I understood the auctioneer, this collector had previously lived in Kentucky, so it's always possible the piece was actually FROM KY--it's real, period. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O>s, but do not use paypal--Roy A.
