A fraction under 3&1/2" by 1&11/16", thickness of 1&1/4", the material is that white speckled Porphyry from glacial origins in the Wabash Valley, western Indiana. The Celt is either Adena or Hopewell Culture, very well formed and patinated. Ancient work (wear) on the bit shows the piece might have been slightly longer as first made. Overall polish is excellent, particularly on the well formed bit. If the photos don't perfectly show it the surface has a slight greenstone look to it (aside from those white quartz inclusions). Real, and lifetime guaranteed authentic in every detail.. Shipping is $7.00, postal rates having gone up again. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O>s, but please note I do NOT use paypal--Roy A.
