Price includes the shipping cost on this Hopkins County, Kentucky, Celt--as thin as it is (7/8") I equate the square-back form with Hopewell Culture--also the collector had few Mississippian tools (points) in his collection, but a nice grouping of Snyders material. That's not a 100% diagnostic, but close enough. Length is 3&1/2" by 2" max 'height'. The bit shows one small use-and-polish out ding the ancient user repaired to a degree--the rest of the bit edge is very well edged, the body (granite) extra well polished. . You'll see one extra light plow scratch so the piece was a definite field find--must have been found quite a few decades back or plows would have creased the surface multiple times. Patina is excellent, lifetime guaranteed authentic. I welcome checks or M.O.s, but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
