Out of the Daviess County, Kentucky, area, made of Harrison county, Indiana, hornstone,3&1/2" by 1&3/8"--center thickness approaches 7/16", and that should indicate the Middle Archaic point was even larger originally. The 'crater' on one side shows clear fire damage (and edge salvage) by the 6500BP hunter. That action took off some length. There is very slight stem edge grinding--Table Rock points were known for using basal grinding, one of the few Mid Archaic cultures (point types) to grind their stems--really hard to distinguish the Table Rock from the Benton Bottle Neck, though--use your own judgement on that classification. Either works, I think. The piece is lifetime guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $6.00, and checks or M.O>s are the welcomed payment forms. Sorry, this store does not use paypal--Roy A.
