I pay the shipping cost on these Elizabethtown, Kentucky, area arrowheads. They're a mix of things a long-deceased police detective found in his youth--and I'm guessing on return trips to where his family was living. Most have been glued to a display board, so you can try soaking in water, acetone (nail polish remover), or some natural solution you find on the web to remove the glue. They're sold as they are--real, but glue covered on one side. The longest is the 3.1" Little Bear Creek in the upper right, smallest is also the oldest, the dinged-tip Bifurcate in left center,:1&3/8". There are three Sonora Flint points, one-above the other, and a small dart beside the notched point--the lower one, as the photo shows, has some huge rounded notches. Since I detect no basal grinding I expect it's in the Hopewell family/ cluster. Beside it, lower right is a Bradley Spike, mid-to-Late Archaic. Top left is a Harrodsburg Fossil Chert piece. One note on the broken-tipped pieces--most have detectable use polish, they became hafted scrapers--waste nothing was their motto. They're all real, whatever damage they show is from ancient use. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but please note my store does not use paypal--Roy A.
