The 'smaller' point is slightly over 3", the other is an eighth or so larger--both missing a barb. The pair came from a Callaway County, Missouri, collection, points I picked up in an older collector's estate sale--nice area of the country, he hunted (I was told) along a deep, winding creek--looked like great country to find artifacts. These two are in the Mehlville--Smith point cluster, Late Archaic point types. Both show any number of 3000---4000 year old sharpenings of the blades. The more basal notched piece I'm classifying as Mozarkite, and the more white piece I'd term a heat treated Burlington Chert--best I can identify the cherts, anyway--good points, real in every detail. Note the carbon on the center of the one point is (I'm pretty sure) from a house fire. Shipping is $6.00 with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
