Price includes the cost of shipping on this "stout bodied" Kampsville (or Buck Creek, take your pick of names)-- a tan, almost brick-colored chert,2&9/16" by a wide 1&13/16", and a full 3/8" center thickness. With those width-thickness dimensions the original size must have been at least twice the present length--all guaranteed ancient reduction as the blade was sharpened. The piece has all the look of a creek find, not a field find--Union or Jackson County, Illinois--or al least that's where the collection was based--there was no other provenance, so here, the patina speaks for itself--it's 100% real. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
