Out of Fayette or area county, Illinois, ex B.Pesch collection--nice Dovetail salvaged as a drill form. Almost all the basal grinding was lost in the salvage, though, only on the corners of the base do you still feel the grinding1&3/8" by 1", barely 1/4" max thickness. What "33W" signified in Mr. Pesch's collection--that info was lost--or at least not presented at his estate auction. Material: maybe I'm applying color to the wrong flint, but the piece looks like a stray (out of area Mozarkite--at least that's the closest flint that resembles it--good patina, guaranteed authentic.
