The piece comes from a Fayette County, Illinois, collection, two different catalog numbers--and a price of $3.00 that must have been good (even back then) back in the 1960s.The hand-held knife is a tan chert3&11/16" by 1&7/16"--3/8" is the thickest single measurement.. The tip is angled, it's not broken, but the leading edge does have a flat surface plane due to use--a closeup picture should show the edge of the tip. Great bevel sharpening, excellent patina, lifetime guaranteed authentic.
