A Knox County, Indiana collection produced this well made--not perfect, just real, and well made, Snyders Hopewell--likely Burlington Chert--2&1/4" by a wide 1&3/4", a blade thickness that nearly reaches 3/8". The numbers should tell you that the blade was even larger before use...and repeated sharpening. There was a 'torque' edge chip on the basal corner, something that happens when a knife blade is twisted too hard--looks like the Hopewell hunter 'dressed up' the bit of damage, re-hafted the blade--little 'adjustment flakes' were removed so the knife head would sit firmly bound onto the handle. Held in-hand, the knife just has a great feel--authentic flint should. Shipping is $6.00, payment can be by check, cash, or M.O., but please note I do not use paypal--Roy A.
