Hopewell Culture seems to encompass quite a few base forms to their knives and dart forms. These ten are from Hopewell sites along the Wabash River, Gibson county, Indiana--they're a mix of "Here's what they were making...and lost", from the micro blades that were a Hopewell specialty, to the Snyders Point that snapped and was converted into a scraping tool (bottom right). The Jacks Reef at lower left, those transition-to-Mississippian Culture thin arrow points. The longest, a banded hornstone, is 2&3/16"--other end of the scale is the point made into a burin at top right, only 15/16". ALL are real. Shipping is $8.00 with checks or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
